Giuliana "Julie" Baldini Werner

Giuliana "Julie" Baldini Werner was born in Medford, Massachusetts on June 8, 1925. In 1944 she received a Harvard degree magna cum laude with a major in Romance Languages and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa. She was employed as a research analyst at the NSA from 1944 to 1962. In 1962 she married James Edward Werner, Sr., with whom she raised three children, Marisa, M.D., James, Construction Superintendent, and Mary, C.P.A. Julie is also survived by her sister, Vera Baldini, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Baltimore-Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce from February 1996 to June 2007.

Friends will be received in the Chapel at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Christian Wake will be conducted at 7:45 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel, MD 20707 on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
